My birthday!!

So Tuesday was my birthday. I went to lunch with my mother at the Hazel Dell Brew Pub. Their James Burger is really really good! We agreed to meet once a week for lunch so that we can regrow our dysfunctional relationship.. so that's pretty good. By the way, this pic of my mom and I is very old.. I don't have a new one yet.

After lunch, I came home to find that someone had sent me flowers! They turned out to have come from my best friend Kathryn in California. They were quite beautiful, and Wesley seemed to like them just as much as I did!


So in keeping with the theme of flowers, Eldon took me to the Chinese Gardens. It was really beautiful, tranquil and relaxing. If you haven't been, you should take a walk around there. The flowers were all blooming and the smell is incredible. We went to the tea room called Tao of Tea. The place has a large variety of different teas for every occasion. I had a very sweet tea (that I cannot pronounce) and some coconut tarts. :)


To complete the whole Chinese theme for the evening, we went to the Happy Panda for dinner. I ordered the chicken chow mein and it more closely resembled chicken lo mein that I've had at any other chinese restaurant, it was excellent.
