Ok... so there's still a few things to blog about.

Friday night I went to see Carlos Mencia at the Schnitz. Eldon, Melissa, myself, Abby and Warren all had our tickets months ago, however even buying them that far in advance, we still ended up in the nosebleed section!

Our seats could have been worse... by 4 rows. That's it.

I'm actually not complaining though. The way the Schnitz is setup there really isn't any bad seats. I would have absolutely wanted to be closer if it were a play, but for a comedy show, all you need to do is hear it anyway. And for that, they certainly hooked you up. I had to excuse myself to the restroom during the show, and I never missed a word. They had speakers in the hallways and IN the restroom!

Unfortunately, they yelled at you every time you took a picture using the flash, so we could only get a couple pictures that were actually in focus zoomed in that far and without a flash, but here's how the stage was setup, the shadow dancers, and the shiek video they played before the comedy actually started.

Carlos brought a few friends along for the tour, which I wasn't expecting but really added to the show. He brought his brother Jose Mencia (family), Christella Alonzo (female), Jo Koy (asian) and Brad Williams (the dwarf!).

I thought it was great.. he just about encompassed everyone he would make fun of as part of his tour. What better way to ensure that everyone knows he's joking?! He missed bringing a black person but that was it. I was shocked to see the dwarf from his show, I didn't know he did his own standup too, but he was hillarious!

At the end, Carlos brought a lucky lady up to the stage and told her, "I'm going to give you the best story ever to tell your whore friends when you're sitting around exchanging stories. You just let them tell their stories, thinking they have the best one ever, and wait till they're done.. then you can bust out with this....."

"Well one time, in front of 3000 people, I got a lapdance from a midget!"

and Brad came out and surely gave her a lapdance. We also got mooned by Carlos.
How great of a story would that be?!

We decided NOT to wait in the ridiculously long line to get our photo snapped with Carlos when we could just take a picture of his huge head on the side of his tour bus instead.

Oh, cool! I can only imagine what Carlos is like without having to tone it down for tv.

Oh, BTW, your flash wont work past 20 feet anyway.
