Big Mouth and Big Heart = another mouth to feed....

I was talking with Natalie, a girl I work with, and she said she was at the end of her rope with her dog... She rescued a Chinese Crested puppy from a really bad situation. This dog is nearly 5 months old, and she had never left the room she was born in....
Ok, so that says to me that this dog has ZERO socialization skills. The poor thing would pee every time a human came near it. Natalie rescued it from that situation, however she works 12 hour days and this dog needs some serious work to be able to funcion like a dog, let alone function in a human society. To top it off, the dog is causing issues between her and her boyfriend because of course the dog isn't housetrained and is still frightened of most people. I met her once and completely fell in love with this little thing.
I opened my big mouth and said that if she ever decided she couldn't handle the dog, that I would take her.
Today, Natalie came up to me and said, "you tell me when you can take her and she's yours.."
So... Sunday I'm taking on the challenge of the little fearful puppy. We shall see how that pans out. My only condition is that Wesley likes her. If not, there is one other place she can go in a couple weeks. Wish me luck.. I think I'm going to need it.

Because you're a real person and you're NOT selling lighting equipment, real estate, or a get rich quick scheme, your comment can stay. :)
