Jesse had managed to leave me with a nice parting gift of a really nasty cold, so I've been sorta wiped out for the last few days. Tuesday I did manage to discover where to get the best bacon ever. It's called Biscuits Cafe in Beaverton. Other than that, I went on a walk with Wesley to a nature preserve, and that's pretty much it for Tuesday.



Wednesday, after working till 8:30, I met up with Eldon at Ash St. Saloon to watch Justin's band, Son of Rust. No matter how many times I see them I like them more each time. When they played their new song "Scream", I was really excited because Eldon and I had been the only ones to have heard it at that point. I think it's quite possibly their best song.

After that, Eldon and I chilled at my place for a couple hours.. We couldn't go to sleep because we had to be at the airport at 5:30 am to see his sister Mary off. She's going off to study in Spain, lucky girl!







I also got to meet Eldon's mom and dad. They're sweet. It's so nice to see a couple who's still married to the first people they married. Gives me a little faith in humanity and the possibility that human pair bonding isn't completely unfathomable. Maybe there are still relationships that last. The best part is that they actually seemed to still like each other after being married all that time too!
