I had a hankering for Mexican food yesterday. It doesn't happen very often due to my inability to tolerate spicy food, but it just sounded really good. So Eldon and I went to Juan Colorado. I had a shredded beef burrito they called Espresso Burrito, (which didn't have any espresso in it), but did manage to get to the table fast, which is good because I was starving! It was excellent, and not spicy at all.

I wish Ash Street Saloon was a more popular venue, it certainly has the capacity. Maybe it was just that it was Tuesday night. I went to yet another Son of Rust show there last night. As always I had a lot of fun.
They openend with a brand new song and I really liked it. Jason was blown away!

There was a whole new energy there last night though. Perhaps it was the vet tech exchange students from Mexico bouncing around dancing and partying that added to it.

I got there late so I only got to see one of the opening bands, but they weren't half bad. The band was called Human Value and they had a female vocalist that had similar sounds of a cross between Johnette Napolitano (from Concrete Blonde) and Pat Benetar. They also had a female guitarist and drummer, which I thought was cool.

As usual, it was really dark in the club, so the camera had to be set at a high exposure time, which unless they hold really still, makes some interesting effects.. This time, Justin disbursed into the projection, actually becoming part of his creation. Well, he keeps saying he's looking for new ways to make the show more interesting...
We did manage to get some decent pictures though.

I of course got another "groupie moment" in..

And I have a thing for ties... If you're wearing one, it usually ends up in my mouth... Be forewarned, wear a tie around me I will bite it.

After the show, I was pretty tired, so I relaxed on the couch with my two favorite puppies.
