New Friend!

Being a self-proclaimed Dog Nerd, I am ashamed to admit that I only recently discovered Dogster. However, now that I have, I have yet another place to post sickeningly cute pictures of my dogs. Here's Wesley's profile and here's Rikka's. Now I can connect with other people who are just as sappy about their dogs! Hooray!

After work, I went out to with my new friend Rosemary. I'm really excited to have a new friend who is actually a girl! I don't have many of those, so it's really cool to have one that I can do girl stuff with. We went to the Triple Nickel. It was pretty busy for a Thursday night, but we were pretty much oblivious to the crowd, just chatting it up over extremely stiff drinks. The only time the bar patrons payed attention to us was this guy who asked ever so politely if he could "pet me" as I was wearing a crushed velvet shirt and it was very pettable.

Embarrassing event inc: So I've been under a lot of stress lately and things are JUST now starting to calm down. The combination of stress release and really stiff drinks hit me ridiculous hard, and I managed to get so drunk on only 4 drinks that I got sick. :( Thankfully, Rosemary's boyfriend Ben is a cab driver and just happened to be stopping by between fares and gave us a ride to their place, where I proceeded to drink water and aspirin and pass out for about 45 mins on their couch. When sober, I headed home, feeling like a complete idiot as this was the first time I hung out with Rosemary and I couldn't hold my liquor. Doh! Hopefully she will want to hang out again, although I doubt she will invite me to any bars!
