Honey, I'm home!

I didn't get much sleep last night. Eldon and I spent most of the night (after our excursion into the rap video) talking (I'm not complaining, it was actually really great to sit up all night talking and having important conversations.) But I didn't end up getting to sleep till around midnight. I got up at 4:30 this morning and was on the shuttle to go to the airport by 5:30. My flight left at 6:30 and I was home by 9am. This is the view from the plane as we flew in. I'm home!

The first thing I did was go over to Amy's and see Wesley. This was the first time I had ever left him for more than half a day without me, in the three years I've had him. I took him for a long walk down by Wintler Park and then let him swim for a bit.

He was really happy, except for this obnoxious pug that was there and wouldn't leave him alone. The owner let me take care of it though, and I managed to show him that nipping at Wesley wasn't something I wanted him to do. Wesley knows better than to tell off other dogs if I'm there. He knows I'll take care of it, and he won't snap at them unless it goes on for a long time and I don't do anything about it.

I got back to my place around 12:30, fed him and then went to work. I'm so exhausted! I got off work around 7:30 and met up with Johanna and her little chihuahua Bronson, who is going to be my next houseguest through the weekend while his family is in Tennessee. I gathered him and his things up and took him home. He's such a cute little dog, but he has a few quirks I'm going to need to work on with him before I give him back on Monday!
