I like pie....
Well actually, I'm more of a cake person than a pie person, but the title was fitting.. you'll see.
So Friday after I had taken that ridiculous test on Thursday, my brain was fried. I decided that since Friday's class was only test review for a test I have on Monday, and I already printed out the review questions, that I was actually going to sleep in. It was something I needed, a mental health day of rest. I slept in, and then watched a couple movies at home. It was great.
Around 8:00pm though, I got a call from Erin, asking if I wanted to meet her and Jamie at Maguffy's, a bar in Beaverton. Since I had been so good all week with studying and did fairly well on my test, I decided it would be ok to go out. It sounded like it was going to be a low-key event anyway.

Boy was I wrong! Wow. People just kept showing up!
This is half the group: Anna, Max, Melissa, Ben, Chad, Justin, Jamie and Seth...
Eldon, Doug, Erin, and Josh were all there too!
Random craziness ensued, as per usual. It was great! I really needed a night out of non-stop laughter with good people to remind me why I'm doing what I'm doing.
But the fun didn't stop there....
When everyone had paid their tab, Justin suggested we all go back to his place for some pool, beer and cheap champagne. Nearly everyone obliged. I think Ben, Melissa and Doug were the only ones who opted-out.
We also discovered that Anna and I have very similar tattoos!
Lots of pool, drinking and joking, until about 4 am, when Erin exclaimed that she was starving.
Eldon and Erin were the few sober people, so they drove the 6 of us that were left to Sharis.
We weren't there a couple of minutes before this girl walks up to us and asks us if we'd like a free pie. Well sure, why not? Then she tells us that she just bought 20 of them and the only reason she bought them was to throw them at the waiter~!
Apparently Shari's was having a pie selling contest with its employees, and the person who sells the most pies gets like $3oo or something. So this girl bought a bunch of pies to put the waiter ahead, but ONLY if he would let her throw them at him.
Well this we had to see!
and Justin and Seth had to inspect them to make sure they were ok. :P
So here we are at 5 am, standing outside Shari's watching some crazy bitch throw pies at our waiter! Surreal!
Eldon jumped in to help her with her aim.
So I didn't end up getting to bed till 6am, and I had to be at work at 10am, but it was well worth it. What a blast!
