Silverware? We don't need no stinkin silverware!

One of Melissa's favorite places to go is Marrakhesh, for some Moroccan food. I'd never been, so I was invited along. It was definately one of those places you with a group of people, so we took 10.

And you go for the experience, not necessarily the food. However, the food was not lacking either. It was delicious! But you don't get utensils. Everyone had to eat with their hands.

So, they make sure that you wash them, by providing rose water to cleanse you with before they serve.

They have several courses, which includes bread, and soup and we managed to plow through 4 bottles of wine between the 10 of us!

Which lead to Warren's dance show with the belly dancer! Although, knowing Warren, he would have danced with the belly dancer dead sober. :)

Melissa also took this time to shower us all with gifts from her experience in Thailand! That was so nice! I think Eldon loved his shirt gift the best. It's an Eldon Moment TM embodied on a shirt!

Then came the meals... WOW. Just look at all this yummyness....

Jessica wasn't sure how to eat hers without silverware....

But Eldon showed her how it's done!

I tried to be neat, but it's hard to look dainty eating steak on a stake!

There was toasting...

and a random sword fight with our skewers.

(Warren had the advantage... his gift from Melissa was a real sword!)

After, they poured some really great peppermint tea to cleanse your palate.
